Whistleblower Wins Justice and Success

An American teenager’s father vanishes in Uganda, leaving him alone, destitute, and half-educated. Taken in by relatives in Massachusetts, he learns of a special college in Western Massachusetts that doesn’t require a high school diploma. The institution is of course Simon’s Rock Early College, as it was known at the time. Simon’s Rock planted the seeds of Ted's belief that young people must take risks to lead a satisfying life.

A faculty member at Bard College at Simon's Rock since 1986, she is remembered for her accomplishments and dedication to her work, and her admiration and love for her students.
